Energy Management
Case Study: Gateway Theatre, Richmond
Aerco has experience in ASHRAE and LEED projects as well as SHARC, an innovative sewage heat recovery system. In fact, we designed and installed the controls for one of North America’s first SHARC projects. It is at the Gateway Theatre, home to Richmond B.C.’s only live professional theatre company and Metro Vancouver’s second largest theatre company.
According to the customer, the outcome is “increased efficiency in the winter and in the summer, because you have better coefficient of performance (COP) in the winter and better air conditioning operation in the summer”.
Since the early 1970s, Aerco has collaborated with contractors, developers, architects, engineers and building owners/operators to deliver many different innovative solutions for energy management. They know that maximizing building efficiency is considered in every aspect of Aerco’s work – design, service, controls and construction. And that those considerations, as well as our proprietary control products for specific building problems, add significant value to a project. They:
- Reduce energy use and costs
- Extend equipment life
- Lower maintenance costs
- Enhance building value, and
- Improve productivity and sales, recruitment and retention.
Companies including McDonald’s, Chevron, Earls and many other notable businesses in Canada trust us to get it right. You can too.
